During Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop's recent visit to the Port Saint Lucie Mo-gwoon, the students and instructors of the 20-A Moy Yee Hop Kung Fu family had the honor of spending time with their esteemed Si-gung. Students from various branches in South Florida and the Treasure Coast, from Fort Lauderdale all the way north to Vero Beach, traveled to Port Saint Lucie to meet the Si-gung they had heard so much about.

Under the guidance of Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop, Sifu James had opened his first Ving Tsun Mo-gwoon in Jupiter in 2016. Since then, he has expanded and established six different locations to spread the art of Ving Tsun Kung Fu and help individuals in the community improve their lives. The Port Saint Lucie location has been opened for several years and is the headquarters for Sifu James' Kung Fu family and is is where many workshops and special classes are held.

Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop's lecture highlighted the importance of having a strong foundation in the Ving Tsun Kung Fu system. He stressed the significance of structure, centerline, and relaxation, as well as the value of practicing the basic forms and understanding the underlying concepts. By building a strong foundation, practitioners can develop their skills and progress in their journey of mastering Ving Tsun Kung Fu.

Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop took the time to speak with all the students and answer their questions. This interaction allowed students to gain valuable insight and guidance from the highly experienced Sifu.

During our visit to Port Saint Lucie, the Kung Fu family had the opportunity to spend quality time with Grandmaster Moy Yee Hop. The students wanted to show him the area and make sure he had a memorable experience.

Luca, a dedicated student of the Kung Fu family, invited some students and Grandmaster to enjoy a nice dinner at his Italian restauraunt.

Grandmaster enjoyed his visit as he got to see many areas the city of Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce. We spent some time at the Fort Pierce inlet and got to see the beautiful views of the ocean.
